Ghanaian striker Bernard Tekpetey showcased his brilliance in Ludogorets' commanding 5-0 victory against Etar in the Bulgarian First Professional League on Saturday evening.

Before the clash, Ludogorets Razgrad had a dominant head-to-head record with nine wins against Etar's zero wins and one draw.

Tekpetey played a pivotal role, starting the game at the Huvepharma Arena and impressively lasting for 61 minutes before being replaced by Rick Jonathan.

Right from the start, the home side demonstrated their superiority, enjoying significant possession and unleashing a total of eleven shots on target and nine off target.

The opening goal came in the 18th minute, with Aslak Fonn Witry finding the back of the net, beautifully assisted by Swiss-born Ghanaian striker Kwadwo Duah, who had recently joined Ludogorets from FC Nurnberg in a deal undisclosed.

Etar's Georgi Angelov received a red card in the 37th minute due to a bad foul, leaving his team with only ten players on the field.

Dominik Yankov extended Ludogorets Razgrad's lead to 2-0 in the 46th minute. Bernard Tekpetey made his mark in the 49th minute, contributing a goal against the ten-men Etar.

Kwadwo Duah missed a penalty in the 53rd minute. A header from Bernard Tekpetey assisted by Spas Delev made it 4-0 in the 57th minute.

Defender Franco Russo made it 5-0 to complete the scoring for the home side.
