Heart of Lions head coach Bashir Hayford says he is open to continuing in charge of the club despite a difficult 2025/26 campaign.
The Dzie Woa Nu struggled for consistency throughout the Ghana Premier League season and spent much of the second half battling to stay clear of relegation.
Their problems continued on Sunday after a heavy 5-2 defeat to newly crowned champions Medeama SC in their penultimate league match.
Speaking after the game, the experienced tactical brainy was asked whether he plans to remain at the club next season.
“That’s the question we have to ask God. I wish. If God gives me the grace, why not?” Hayford said.
Despite the disappointing season, Hayford remains hopeful about the future and believes the club can return stronger next term.
“We have learned a lesson, and we will make sure we improve,” he added.
