Bechem United head coach Desmond-Issah Botchway says his side are determined to end their slow start to the campaign when they meet Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League this weekend.

The Hunters are still searching for their first victory of the season after three games, having drawn once and lost twice, leaving them with just a single point.

In a pre-match interview with Bechem United TV, Botchway admitted there was room for improvement but insisted the players were working hard to correct early flaws.

“We have played three matches and we are doing very well, but there are a few things we need to work on to make the team a complete one,” he said.

“We have only one point. Hearts of Oak are a good side. We are preparing well, we are making sure that the match is ours at the end of the game.”

Bechem United host the Phobians on Friday, October 3, at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, with kick-off at 3pm.
