Asante Kotoko communications director Sarfo Duku has expressed confidence in head coach Abdul Karim Zito’s ability to restore the club to prominence.
Duku described Zito’s experience and connection with the Porcupine Warriors as vital assets in guiding the team’s progress.
“Karim Zito is working, and he has the experience to take the club to the next level,” Duku told Kessben FM.
“He is a legend of the club, and in terms of coaching, he has worked for many years. With his assistant coaches, I believe they are on track.”
Zito, a former Kotoko player and long-time youth development figure in Ghana, has returned to lead the Porcupine Warriors rebuilding project.
Kotoko will resume their Ghana Premier League campaign this Sunday with a matchday 4 home fixture against Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara Stadium.
