Bechem United defender Kofi Agbesimah has arrived in Accra with the intention of finalizing his medical assessment for Hearts of Oak.
The dedicated defender is scheduled to undergo the required medical evaluation at Hearts of Oak on August 23, 2023, before formalizing his contract with the Phobians.
Kofi Agbesimah's impending medical examination follows productive negotiations between Hearts of Oak and Bechem United regarding the player's transfer.
The negotiation process saw Bechem United seeking GHC100,000 for Agbesimah's transfer, while Hearts of Oak proposed a payment of GHC50,000. This transaction is occurring with only a month remaining on the player's contract.
Upon successful medical clearance, Agbesimah is set to sign a two-year contract that is open for renewal for an additional year, as confirmed by Getsportsgh.com.
Agbesimah's inclusion in the ranks of the rainbow club will provide a significant boost to their defensive lineup, particularly in light of the departures of dependable defenders Caleb Amankwah and Robert Addo.
Upon completing the medical formalities and the official announcement, Kofi Agbesimah will join his soon-to-be teammates for the team's ongoing pre-season training at Pobiman in Accra.
He will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of newly appointed Dutch head coach, Martin Koopman, as the club prepares for the upcoming season commencing in September.
