Ghana Premier League side, Berekum Chelsea have announced the capture of defender Seidu Mohammed from Kumasi second division side Ebony FC ahead of the 2023/24 football season.
The young center-back has been with the Bibires for the past weeks and has actively taken part in their preseason so far which is still being held in Kumasi as they hope to get themselves well gelled for the 2023/24 Ghana football season.
After an impressive short spell in the blue shirt and a fruitful negotiations, the lanky defender has agreed and inked a three year deal which will keep him at the Golden City Park until 2026.
The ex- Asokwa Deportivo defender is expected to come in as replacement for highly-rated defender Henry Ansu who left to join giants Asante Kotoko.
The former Black Satellites guardsman was an integral member of Ebony FC side that qualified for the Ashanti Regional second division Middle League last year and just recently was adjudged Most Valuable Player in the most-watched Adonko Inter-Community soccer tournament.
Seidu Mohammed will hope to adapt and find his rhythm quickly in order to establish as a mainstay in the starting line up when the season commences.
