Defender Yussif Nurudeen passes medical test ahead of Asante Kotoko transfer

Former Real Tamale United defender, Yussif Nurudeen Mohammed has successfully undergone a medical assessment in anticipation of his imminent transfer to Asante Kotoko.

The skillful center-back is slated to finalize a permanent contract with Asante Kotoko on Tuesday, following a productive medical evaluation that took place on Monday, August 21, 2023.

Nurudeen Mohammed's move to Asante Kotoko is being executed on a free transfer basis, given that his contract with RTU concluded at the conclusion of the 2022/23 league season.

His contribution to RTU was remarkable, as he played a crucial role in preserving the club's position in the premier league during the preceding season.

It's noteworthy that Nurudeen Mohammed had been on the radar of Hearts of Oak, and preliminary discussions regarding a transfer had commenced with the Phobians. However, the deal was subsequently taken over by Asante Kotoko.
