Berekum Chelsea centre-back Riis Opoku Twumasi has completed a medical ahead of his proposed move to Aduana FC.

The 19-year-old is set to join the two-time Ghana Premier League champions after both clubs reached an agreement, with the transfer forming part of Aduana’s efforts to bolster their defensive options ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Twumasi, who has represented Ghana at youth international level, has earned plaudits for his performance in the domestic league. He is viewed by Aduana head coach Cioaba Aristica as a long-term asset in the club’s rebuild.

The deal follows Aduana’s recent acquisitions of goalkeeper Obeng Sekyere Gregory and striker Mizack Afriyie, both of whom also arrived from Berekum Chelsea.
