Bibiani Goldstars CEO Akwasi Adu says the club will be contenders for every major competition in the 2025/26 season as the reigning Ghana Premier League champions prepare for a packed domestic and continental campaign.
Goldstars secured their maiden league title last season, earning qualification for the CAF Champions League.
The Miners will also compete in the Ghana FA Cup and aim to defend their league crown.
“We are interested in competing in the CAF Champions League, Ghana Premier League and the FA Cup. We are always a contender because we’ve been able to win a trophy. At least we should be able to win one of the three competitions next season,” Adu said. “You (players) must know you are here for a purpose.“
The club resumed pre-season training earlier this month and will learn their Champions League preliminary round opponent at a draw scheduled for August 12 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season is set to begin in September.
