Bibiani Gold Stars gaffer, Michael Osei hailed his team's performance and fighting spirit in the Ghanaian top flight with a 2-0 victory over Karela United on Sunday afternoon football at Dun's Park.
Needing a victory to make themselves proud and catnap in the top-four with just a game to end the first round, Osei tactical bravura, plus the sheer ecstasy and force of a husky crowd, gallantly streaked up an inexorable Passion and Pride side.
Osei said: "Let me congratulate the playing body, I think we have played one of our best games this season at home. I think the performance was amazing, the determination, discipline in our tactical play.
When asked about his side's road performance so far, Osei added: "I’m so happy about the team’s performance, hopefully we will continue like that because you can see the boys have done so well in the first round.
"One game to end the first round and 26 points isn’t bad but I can see the team has done extremely well in the first round and I have to congratulate them.”
