Bibiani GoldStars' head coach, Michael Osei, expressed his satisfaction with his team's dominant performance against Asante Kotoko.
GoldStars secured a 2-1 victory over the Porcupine Warriors at Dun's Park on matchday two of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League. Speaking after the game, Michael Osei praised his team's outstanding display.
He stated, "Let me congratulate the players. I think it was an amazing performance and an amazing scoreline. We dominated the game, and we showed that we deserved the win. So, I want to congratulate the team."
Osei went on to highlight the determination and discipline of his players in executing their tactical plan, emphasizing their organization and effectiveness throughout the game.
The goals in the match included Prince Kwabena Owusu's header for GoldStars, which put them in the lead, followed by a quick equalizer from Asante Kotoko's substitute, Sherif Mohammed.
GoldStars ultimately secured all three points with a spectacular long-range strike from Eric Bosomtwi in the 74th minute. Additionally, the home side had two goals disallowed, one for a goalkeeper infringement and the other for offside.
