Bibiani GoldStars have completed the signing of midfielder Emmanuel Fosu Kyei from Skyy FC on a three-year contract, the club confirmed on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old becomes GoldStars’ sixth signing ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, as the club looks to bolster its midfield options and build momentum for the upcoming campaign.

“Emmanuel Fosu Kyei Joins the Miners! We are proud to announce the signing of midfielder Emmanuel Fosu Kyei from Skyy FC,” a statement from the club read. “Kyei, who spent last season on loan at Young Apostles, has penned a three-year deal with the Miners. Welcome to Bibiani, Kyei.”

Kyei, who was in the books of Young Apostles on loan last season, enjoyed an impressive spell at Division One side Skyy FC, where his energy, ball progression, and passing ability earned him recognition as a top performer.

However, his arrival at the fold of the Miners is expected to inject much-needed creativity and depth into the GoldStars midfield.

GoldStars are strengthening their squad ahead of their debut appearance in the CAF Champions League, following their Ghana Premier League title win.

The club has already secured the signings of Emmanuel Agyenim Boateng, Barimah Baah, Edward Agyemang, Emmanuel Kontor, and Emmanuel Ankrah.

Coach Frimpong Manso and his squad will assess their preparations for the continental competition during the 2025 GHALCA Top Four tournament, set to begin on August 1.
