Bechem United head coach, Bismark Kobi Mensah hasn't really had a good one since the start of the season but is very optimistic of turning things around when he is giving more time.
The enterprising gaffer has come under a very huge pressure so far this season, having lost three out of the first four matches he's honoured so far with the Hunters in the Ghana Premier League.
The recent one was giving away a goal lead to lose 1-2 to champions Medeama SC on home soil - a defeat that sparked huge fury among the Bechem United fans who called for his immediate jettisoning last week.
With this, it was widely reported in the local media days ago that, the ex- Black Galaxies assistant coach has been axed but turns out to be a false report as he is still at post in Bechem and has two matches to redeem himself.
Speaking ahead of their next league fixture, the ex- Karela United gaffer admitted there's pressure to prove himself and added that, he is definitely going to patch up all cracks and turn things around at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park when he is giving more time on the job.
"Nothing has happened I will say that we have had a very bad start of the season which for me it is part of the game sometimes when you have so much hope to that the league."
"But the truth is that it is also good that it has happen this way I am not happy the players are not happy their supporters are not happy but the truth is that when we are given the time we can change things around.
"It is better it has started early we have more time or we have time to re-correct those wrong things we are doing that is not bringing the results so as I speak with you I have changed some few things that is a problem for us as a team. So I believe that in moving forward if a little time we can change things around."
Bechem United will play as guests to Legon Cities FC at the El-Wak Stadium in the next round of matches on Sunday, October 15, 2023.
