Black Stars defender Baba Rahman showed off class as Greek side PAOK Thessaloniki pounded Hajduk Split 3-0 to cruise to the next round of the Europa Conference League play-off round.
The pacey defender was the chief slasher on the field as his contribution in left-back helped the team to win balls at the back and retain possession as PAOK broke down the 'Masters from the Sea' defensive set-up.
However, the strong-spirited PAOK had their resilience pay off at the 12th minute as Austrian midfielder Stefan Schwab nicked the opener.
The White and Blacks went ahead to double their lead through winger Andrija Živković, who scored twice (79th and 85th minute) to seal the win for the host at the Toumba Stadium in Thessaloniki.
PAOK will travel to Scotland to slug-it-out with Heart of Midlothian FC in the first leg of the play-off on Thursday, August 24, 2023.
