Asante Kotoko have given update on their injured midfielder Michael Kyei Dwamena who is expected to return into action in the next one month, two weeks.
The 24-year-old sustained injury in their last league fixture against Karela United- a tie they suffered a narrow 1-0 loss in Nalerigu over the weekend.
The stalwart middleman didn't make the starting line up but was unleashed on the 75th minute mark to replace Peter Acquah Amidu but sadly couldn't enjoy a full time action despite coming on in the last fifteen minutes.
After series of checks from the Kotoko medical team, it's been confirmed he's sustained a jones fracture and won't be able to play football for the next six weeks.
He currently joins the club's injury list that already has Isaac Oppong and Sherif Mohammed.
Kyei Dwamena, joined the Reds prior to the start of the ongoing season from WAFA and has currently featured in almost all their games so far, with a goal to his belt.
