Alexander Ababio, the Chief Executive Officer of Bofoakwa Tano, has credited the club's successful promotion to Ghana's top-flight league to the unwavering discipline demonstrated by the players throughout the season.

Despite facing numerous challenges, the team's commitment and focus proved vital in securing their place in the premier division after a 16-year absence.

Bofoakwa Tano, based in Sunyani, celebrated their promotion following a hard-fought battle against Eleven Wonders at the Accra Sports Stadium, emerging as winners with a 7-6 victory in a penalty shootout.

This achievement represents a significant milestone for the club, which endured relegation during the 2006/2007 campaign and has since been determined to make a comeback.

Speaking in an interview with Citi Sports, Alexander Ababio expressed his excitement and acknowledged the difficulties the team encountered throughout the season.

"We have experienced the pain of relegation for the past 16 years, and it has been a challenging journey," Ababio stated. "However, the discipline displayed by our players has been instrumental in securing our qualification to Ghana's top-flight league."

The CEO's recognition of the players' discipline highlights the importance of their dedication and adherence to a strong work ethic in achieving the club's promotion and sets a positive tone for their future endeavors in the premier division.
