Accra Hearts of Oak board member, Alhaji Braimah Akambi has hit out at the “lies” Ghana's media outlets have been allowing to be aired on their various networks, accusing them of conniving with people to denigrate the club.
The astute football administrator expressed dissatisfaction and blamed the media of allowing perjurer's to spew incessant lies in an hugely damaging manner.
“The media are responsible for the bad state of Accra Hearts of Oak. They are the reason why the players of Hearts of Oak cannot perform . . . they allow anybody to spew rubbish, lies, and unsubstantiated stories about the club on the airwaves,” Akambi said.
"We will start taking action against anybody who sits on air to spew lies about Accra Hearts of Oak," he warned.
