After an impressive qualification for the top-flight league following a 16-year absence, the Sunyani-based club is eager to establish themselves in the Ghanaian top flight.
In a thrilling match at the Accra Sports Stadium, Bofoakwa Tano secured their place in the premier league with a 7-6 victory in a penalty shootout against Eleven Wonders.
Alexander Ababio, the CEO of Bofoakwa Tano, has expressed the club's ambitions and outlined their strategic plans to ensure their survival in the Ghana Premier League.
Ababio emphasized the importance of making crucial adjustments to the team's technical setup and squad composition.
"To successfully navigate the challenges of the premier league, we need to make some key changes. We are planning to strengthen our squad by recruiting five or six players who can make an immediate impact," stated Ababio in an interview with Citi Sports.
"With these strategic changes and the determination of our players, I firmly believe we can not only survive but thrive in the Ghana Premier League."
