Hearts of Oak board chairman, Alhaji Akambi has flown into a huge fury on the Ghanaian media, categorically blaming them for the recent brouhaha surrounding the club.

The 'Phobians' haven't been really impressive this season in terms of performances and currently out of the Ghana Premier League race as they currently sit 8th on the log with 45 points.

Also in the FA Cup where they have dominated for the past two seasons, the 'Phobians' weren't lucky this time, having sent packing from round 32 of the competition.
 
This appaling display has led to disappointing outcomes and has sparked a huge rage among the fans who have in recent times descended heavily on the players and management.
 
In an exclusive interview, board member Alhaji Akambi has gone hard on the local media for the recent bad image of Hearts of Oak stating they allow anyone to spill all forms of lias, bias and distorted views about the club has vowed anyone involved in that on. 
 
"The media are responsible for the bad state of Accra Hearts of Oak. They allow anybody to spew rubbish, lies, and unsubstantiated stories about the club on the airwaves," Akambi said.
 
"We will start taking action against anybody who sits on air to spew lies about the Accra Hearts of Oak."
