The 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season is beginning to take clearer shape after Matchday 14, with home dominance, late goals and strict officiating emerging as defining themes of the campaign so far.

A total of 125 matches have been played so far this season, producing 71 home wins compared to just 16 away victories, while 38 fixtures have ended all square. One match remains outstanding.

Goals have continued to flow across the league, with 233 scored overall. Of that total, 158 have come from home teams, while away sides have managed 75. More goals have also been scored in the second half of matches, with 123 after recess and 110 before half-time.

The league has also seen plenty of tough tackling. Referees have shown 460 yellow cards and 16 red cards. Penalties have played their part too, with 29 awarded so far, with 24 converted and five missed, while seven own goals have been recorded.

As the season moves closer to the second round, the numbers suggest home support and discipline are proving key in the race for points.
