Ghana Premier League side Hohoe United have jettisoned their head coach Tijani Abdul Rahim Bashiru with immediate effect, per reports in the media.
Astonishingly, he was in charge when the team kick started match-day 17 of the Ghana Premier League with a goalless draw against Heart of Lions in the Volta derby last Friday afternoon
He took his post-match duties just as he should with all smiles on his face little did he know he is about to be axed in less than 24 hours with the news reported renowned journalist Shaban Mohammed coming as a big surprise.
His assistant Alhassan Shaibu Osei set to takeover for now and will lead the team against giants Hearts of Oak in match-day 18.
Coach Tijani Abdul Rahim Bashiru in seventeen matches in the first round, recorded just four wins, six draws and seven loses, having scored 13 goals and conceded 17.
