Supporters of Real Tamale United have attacked Match Commissioner Charles Darkwa, who collapsed at the spot and has quickly been rushed to the hospital.
The unfortunate incident occured a while ago at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Ghana Premier League outstanding fixture between the 'Wey Una' outfit and champions Medeama SC.
The league is currently on break and will resume next month but this game didn't come off on the initial date due to Medeama's CAF Champions League campaign.
The main reason that got the RTU fans angry and ended up making the attack still hasn't been determined but the incident happened in the course of the game when they were up by 1-0.
The match is currently on hold with the victim Charles Darkwa already sent to the hospital hoping to resuscitate and gain his consciousness.
