Following a lackluster performance in the Ghana Premier League's first round, Nations FC has mutually terminated the contract of Brazilian winger Joe Dos Santos Silva.
Dos Santos joined the newly promoted club on a free transfer in August 2023.
The decision, reached by both parties, comes in the wake of Santos Silva's personal tragedy—losing his wife in Brazil about three weeks ago.
Departing Ghana on Friday, December 29, 2023, Santos Silva, who made two appearances in 17 games for the Abrankese-based club, leaves with heartfelt circumstances.
