Former Asante Kotoko head coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor says he will be happy to return to the club.
Asante Kotoko won the Ghana Premier League with sixty-seven points last season.
The Porcupine Warriors will be competing in the CAF inter-clubs competitions in the upcoming season.
Charles Kwabla Akonnor have been without a team since parting ways with the Ghanaian national team, Black Stars, last year.
Akonnor was sacked after nine months in charge at the Kumasi-based outfit in July 2019.
He guided the Porcupine Warriors to the group stage of the Confederations cup in 2018.
C.K Akonnor reveals that he will be very elated to join Asante Kotoko again.
“For me returning to Kotoko will be on a different level. Kotoko was full of joy and though I went through a lot of pressure but it was a positive one," he told Akoma FM.
The Ghana Premier League is scheduled to commence on 9th September.
