Former Black Stars coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor has strongly being linked with a return to Asante Kotoko who are still on the lookout for a new substantive head coach

However, there are several reports that the Reds might appoint a substantive coach at the end of the ongoing campaign and might maintain Abdul Karim Zito if he is able to win the double
