Vision FC head coach, Nana Kwaku Agyemang says clubs in the Ghana Premier League are not tactically adept, making fans' and connoisseurs of the game to classify the league as noncompetitive.

In recent times worries have been expressed about the GPL's competitiveness and its ability to compete effectively with other leagues within the African hemisphere.

“I think the Ghana Premier League is not competitive enough. Tactically, you will get a lot of clubs playing a similar style of football. We just run with the ball and score goals, that's all, there is no tactical plan the teams display, so it's very difficult to pick a club in Ghana and study their plan or style of play," Agyemang told Kessben FM.

“It’s very difficult to take a club and delve into their style and counter it. The standard of play has declined as compared to previous years. It is our duty as coaches to turn things around to make the league attractive and competitive” he said.

With three games to bring the season to a closure, Kwaku Agyemang's Vision FC are languishing on the 14th spot on 33 points.

Vision FC will host Young Apostles in Matchweek 31 fixture of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday, May 18.
