Bibiani Gold Stars Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Akwasi Adu has lauded financiers of the various Ghana Premier League clubs.
According to Adu, he admires the clandestine efforts the club financiers are making, in which they should be classified as magicians because of insufficient funding, with the league expected to conclude with no official headline sponsor.
"I should say this on behalf of all 18 Premier League clubs; the managers and financiers are magicians. Travelling across all regional boundaries without a sponsor is very difficult. We are all hoping to resolve this situation as quickly as possible,” Adu told Citi Sports.
Adu further stated that Bibiani Gold Stars are currently hunting for sponsorship deals ahead of next football season, as the Miner aim to linger on to their superb form in the ongoing campaign.
“The competitive nature of this year’s title race, despite the challenges, should attract potential sponsors. We hope this will be a turning point for local football.”
Bibiani Gold Stars are presently bossing the second position of the Ghana Premier League table with 53 points.
