Nigerian side Remo Stars FC have left Ogun State just this morning en route to Ghana for their CAF Champions League first preliminary round clash against Medeama SC
The team got into the journey with 20 well gelled players hoping to stun the Mauves and Yellows on home soil to enhance their qualification chances before the return encounter in Sagamu.
The Sky Blue Stars are expected to land at the Kotoka International Airport in Ghana's capital Accra, in the next few hours before they proceed to the Central part of the country where the game will be staged.
Remo Stars look very confident and optimistic heading into this tie, especially premising it to the latest interviews granted by some of their players and head coach Daniel Ogunmodede Precious.
The game is slated for 3:00pm at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
