Asante Kotoko forward Albert Amoah has underlined the team’s focus ahead of their Champion of Champions clash with Bibiani Gold Stars, stressing the importance of sharpening their attack before Sunday’s tie.
“We’ll focus on improving our finishing to make the most of our chances against Gold Stars on Sunday,” Amoah said, highlighting Kotoko’s determination to be more clinical in front of goal.
The Porcupine Warriors will square off with Gold Stars on August 31 in the curtain-raiser to the new season, a clash that pits the FA Cup winners against the Premier League champions.
Kotoko head into the encounter looking to build momentum as they target a strong start, with Amoah insisting Kum-Apem are determined to convert their dominance into goals.
