Port City FC head coach Christopher Ennin has vowed to push his side for maximum points in their next Ghana Premier League fixture following their 1-0 defeat to Hearts of Oak.
The newly promoted side conceded in the 20th minute through Frank Duku Abora at the University of Ghana Stadium, with the Phobians holding on to secure all three points.
The enterprising gaffer admitted his team struggled during the first half but was encouraged by their improved performance after the break.
“As you can see, we struggled a bit in the first half, so we came back good in the second, and we will go back to work on our mistakes.
“I came to win and nothing else, but it didn’t happen,” Ennin added, making it clear that his side would be determined to bounce back.
Port City will now turn their attention to their next league match against Dreams FC as they seek to return to winning ways and get their campaign back on track.
