Last chance for clubs to finalize deals. Who will make the biggest moves?

The Ghana Premier League transfer window enters its final stretch with clubs rushing to strengthen their squads before the deadline closes at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, August 24.

Several moves have already been completed, with more expected as negotiations intensify. Aduana FC secured the services of goalkeeper Masawudu Inusah on a two-year contract extension after his 29 league appearances last season. Karela United are closing in on winger Kwabena Adu Meider, formerly of Nsoatreman FC, in a bid to sharpen their attack.

Elsewhere, Heart of Lions confirmed the signing of Liberia National Team (Lone Stars) vice captain Chauncy Freeman from Watanga FC, while Hearts of Oak cough out an hefty amount to bring in former Nations FC midfielder Abdul Karim.

With Medeama, Asante Kotoko, Dreams FC and Bechem United still active in the market, the closing hours are expected to be tense. Clubs will look to finalise paperwork and registration in time, with insiders revealing to Kickgh.com that a number of moves are at an advanced stage, with midfielders and forwards the most sought-after positions in the final hours of business.

The race against the clock has set the stage for a tense finish, with clubs hoping to announce signings before the registration deadline passes.
