Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Kwame Baah has started training with Hearts of Oak, fueling speculation that the Phobians are set to secure his signature.

The 27-year-old, who has previously played for Asante Kotoko, Heart of Lions and Inter Allies in the Ghana Premier League, has been unattached since leaving Djiboutian outfit ASAS Djibouti Télécom, where he helped the club to the 2024/25 league title.

The former Ghana U23 shot-stopper earlier moved to Ethiopian Premier League side Adama City FC in September 2022 on a free transfer, following the expiration of his contract with Kotoko.

Baah's decision to join Hearts’ training sessions signals that negotiations with the Accra giants are progressing.

Kickgh.com understands that talks are advancing smoothly, with the move expected to be finalized in the coming hours as Hearts of Oak continue to reinforce their squad ahead of the 2025/26 GPL campaign.

If completed, the deal will see Baah bring top-flight experience and depth to the goalkeeping department as the Phobians aim to mount a stronger league challenge.
