Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have secured the services of former Accra Lions defender Musa Hamzata on a three-year contract, Kickgh.com can exclusively confirm.
The 22-year-old centre back, who impressed for Accra Lions during the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign with 22 appearances and three goals despite the 'Yenn Nyinaa Dea'’ relegation, had attracted interest from Medeama SC, Aduana Stars and Nations FC.
Hamzata’s commanding dominance in the air and authoritative presence at the back convinced the Porcupine Warriors to move swiftly, sealing the deal after weeks of speculation.
The former Kenpong Football Academy player now becomes Kotoko’s latest addition as they look to rebuild and challenge for titles in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League and CAF Confederation Cup competition.
