Samuel Boadu, the former Hearts of Oak coach who guided the team to five trophies during his two-year tenure, declined to discuss the possibility of a return to the club, should such an opportunity arise.
Boadu left the club mid-season during the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.
Under the management of Dutchman Martin Koopman, Hearts of Oak has struggled in the ongoing 2023/24 season. The club has only secured one victory in six games, with one game yet to be played.
Due to their disappointing results, fans have called for Boadu's return, but when questioned by Graphic Sports about the possibility of returning, Boadu, who is currently the head coach of the Ghana U-20 team, declined to comment, stating, "I am sorry, I don't want to talk about this."
Samuel Boadu is also serving as the head coach for lower-tier side Kumasi Cornerstones.
Hearts of Oak is currently in 16th place on the league table with six points. The Phobians will host Medeama SC in the matchday eight game at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday, with kick-off scheduled at 15:00 GMT.
