Asante Kotoko midfielder, Sheriff Mohammed, acknowledges the heightened pressure on the club following their recent Ghana Premier League draw with Bechem United. Sheriff was part of the team that played to a draw at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

While Peter Acquah scored his debut goal for the Porcupine Warriors in the match, Bechem United's Augustine Okrah equalized, resulting in the shared points.

With their upcoming away game against Nsoatreman FC on matchday eight looming, Sheriff stressed the team's commitment to securing a victory on Thursday at Nana Koramansah Park.

"Drawing against Bechem United puts pressure on us. We travel to face Nsoatreman in our next Ghana Premier League game, and we have no excuse other than to win the match on Thursday."

Asante Kotoko currently holds the seventh position on the league table with 10 points and aims to bounce back strongly when they take on the league leaders this Thursday.
