Great Olympics midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has urged unattached Black Stars players to join Ghana Premier League (GPL) sides to make the league exciting.
Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has joined Great Olympics in the just ended GPL transfer window.
Samuel Inkoom, Asamoah Gyan and Sulley Muntari have all played in the GPL in the last two seasons.
Great Olympics are into the finals of the GHALCA Top 6 and will battle it out with Bechem United at the Accra Sports stadium on Sunday
Great Olympics will face Bechem United in the opening day of the 2022/23 season.
Agyemang Badu says unattached experience players should sign for GPL clubs to make the league exciting and help the young players to grow.
"I think [to sign for GPL clubs] is a good option. If you think you haven’t stopped playing football and maybe you’re looking for some offers from outside and it’s not coming, you can’t just stay home and be rusty, or be home and train alone. It won’t help you, ” Agyemang Badu told Joy Sports.
“Join a club – six months loan, there’s an option in January for the transfer window. Just keep yourself busy, help the players here to grow as well, and just move on with your life because our life is football.
“I am just appealing to them . Maybe some of my colleagues fear insults but you should be ready for everything. Come let’s enjoy ourselves and help the guys grow and make the league exciting," he added.
