Berekum Chelsea owner, Bernard Nana Yaw Amofa Jantuah discloses that, they have have decided to retain Samuel Boadu at the Golden City Park for more years and have their sights on winning the league title next season.
The 38-year-old stepped in- in the middle of last season on a short term deal and also as replacement for Christopher Ennin- who announced his resignation in the early stages of the second round.
The enterprising tactician took over and guided the Bibires to a third place finish with 51 points- tied on points with second-placed Accra Lions.
Speaking in an Interview with Kessben FM in Kumasi, Nana Jantuah confirmed Kickgh.com earlier report and confirmed they have retained Samuel Boadu as head coach with a two-year contract as they look to clinch the league next season.
"We shouldn’t have won the Ghana Premier League title last season but our coach left us in the second round, which derailed our chances. We have signed two-year deal with coach Samuel Boadu and the focus now is to win the league title next season."
Berekum Chelsea's pre-season is currently ongoing in Kumasi as they look to have themselves very prepared and poised for the new campaign which commences next month.
They recently pulled out of the ongoing GHALCA Top 4 tournament despite being part of the legit clubs to partake in this year's edition.
