Hearts of Oak have shown midfielder, William Opoku Asiedu the exit door by mutual consent, following his inability to impress and walk his way into the team.
The 25 year old switched to he 'Phobians' prior to the commencement of last season after ending his one year spell with Butwal Lumbini in the Nepal topflight.
The ex- Middlesbrough middleman gave many the believe he will walk into the Hearts of Oak squad with ease and probably establish himself as a mainstay but unfortunately, couldn't live up to the height.
With this, the Rainbow Club by mutual consent, have parted ways with the mercurial midfielder and has wished him luck in his subsequent task. Statement from the club's official Facebook page reads;
"Accra Hearts of Oak has mutually parted ways with William Opoku Asiedu a player of the club."
"We thank him for his services whilst at the club and wishes him all the best in his future endeavors."
Hearts of Oak are still in extensive preparations towards the resumption of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League which is currently on a short halt due to the 2022 World Cup which is currently happening in Qatar.
