After completing his contract, Ronald Frimpong has officially parted ways with Real Tamale United FC.

During his three-season tenure with RTU, Frimpong played a crucial role in the team's qualification to the Ghana Premier League and their subsequent survival in the top-flight competition.

As he looks ahead to new opportunities, the talented forward is currently engaged in discussions with three Premier League clubs: Bibiani Gold Stars, Nations FC, and Great Olympics. It is important to note that Frimpong decided against extending his contract with RTU due to outstanding unpaid wages totaling GHC47,600.

Gold Stars according to Kickgh sources have reached an agreement with the attacker and will soon put pen to paper for the Miners ahead of the new season.

Throughout his time at RTU, Ronald Frimpong made significant contributions to the team's journey back to the premier league after an extended absence. His performances were instrumental in securing their promotion, and he continued to shine during their campaign in the Ghana Premier League.

Throughout the season, Frimpong showcased his goal-scoring ability by netting 10 goals, including a memorable brace against Hearts of Oak in Accra, which played a pivotal role in RTU's survival in the league two seasons ago.
