Nations FC, a newly promoted team in the Ghana Premier League, has officially appointed Kassim Ocansey Mingle as their new head coach as they prepare for their debut season in the top flight of Ghanaian football.
While the exact duration of Mingle's contract remains undisclosed as of the announcement on Friday night, the club is enthusiastic about the prospect of working with the experienced manager.
Nations FC secured their place in the Ghana Premier League by clinching the championship in the 2022/23 Nations Division One League Zone 2. They impressively accumulated 72 points from 30 matches, finishing seven points ahead of Skyy FC.
Prior to joining Nations FC, Kassim Ocansey Mingle had been associated with fellow Ghana Premier League side Bechem United for the past two seasons. During his tenure, Bechem United achieved a commendable second-place finish in the league with 54 points, trailing behind the champions Medeama SC and Aduana FC.
Under Mingle's guidance, Bechem United had consistently performed well, securing their second consecutive third-place finish in the league.
Now, the accomplished coach looks forward to taking on the challenge of leading Nations FC in their inaugural season in the top-tier division of Ghanaian football.
