Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko and winger Evans Osei Wusu are at an impasse over the terms of his integration into the squad, delaying a potential deal, Kickgh.com can exclusively reveal.
Kotoko want the 25-year-old to train with the team before entering formal contract negotiations, while the player prefers to sign first before joining training.
Osei Wusu, who is currently a free agent after leaving FC Samartex earlier this year, is being strongly considered by head coach Abdul Karim Zito as part of Kotoko’s rebuild for the 2025/26 season.
The former Samartex forward scored seven goals in 24 league appearances last term and registered 15 goals in 47 matches over two seasons with the Timber Giants.
