Hearts of Oak Legend, Mohammed Polo has advised the management of the club to convince Daniel Afriyie Barnieh to stay at the club.
Daniel Afriyie Barnieh hae been a crucial part of Hearts of Oak since joining in 2019.
The 21-year-old has seen a meteoric rise in status over the years and he was the top scorer for the club last season with eight goals.
Afriyie Barnieh has won the Ghana Premier League and two MTN FA Cup titles at the club.
The former Black Satellites captain's current deal with Hearts of Oak will run out this year, but the club has started negotiations to extend his deal.
Hearts of Oak lost by 4:0 to Berekum Chelsea in the GHALCA Top 6 yesterday.
Mohammed Polo has urged Hearts of Oak to convince Afriyie Barnieh to extend his deal with the club.
"Afriyie Barnieh is one of the brightest spots in Hearts of Oak. The management should convince him to stay once they know he is somebody who can help the team," he said.
"They should make him feel comfortable and stay for at least one more season," he insisted.
