Assistant coach of Heart of Lions, Daniel Nii Adjei, has urged fans of Asante Kotoko to stick together after his side defeated them 1-0 at home.
The Porcupine Warriors suffered a humiliating defeat at the Len Clay Sports Stadium to the Kpando side in the matchday 9 clash.
A goal by Kwadwo Obeng Junior ensured that Heart of Lions recorded their third win of the season to claim the 7th spot with 14 points.
Nii Adjei, a former player of Asante Kotoko who conceded the loss was a bad one, also urged fans to stay calm as coach Ogum makes amends for the future.
“Ogum is working and I don’t think he is under pressure after losing two games from the initial nine games. For me, he is doing very well. Manchester City, who won the league last season, suffered defeat at the weekend. In life, you can’t always win. There might be short falls along the line,” he told Kessben FM.
Asante Kotoko are now third with 15 points after Sunday's defeat to Heart of Lions. The Porcupine Warriors will aspire to rebound against Bechem United in matchday 10 fixture on Sunday, November 10.
