Young Apostles head coach Asare Bediako has described their game against Legon Cities FC as a balanced one and said they were not outplayed but lost because they didn't make good use of their chances.
The Royals continued with their recent winning-streak to edge the newbies by 2-0 last Monday night at the Legon Stadium in the last fixture of Ghana Premier League match-week 9.
Two goals from Dennis Adoma and substitute Abdul Rahim Yaya in each half of the game was enough to hand the hosts all three points.
Reacting to the defeat, the experienced trainer feels it was a very close contest but their opponents were potent in front of goal having converted well the chances that fell on their path.
“This game was not that tough. It was 50/50. Legon Cities FC took their chances, and they won,” he stated.
“To the fans, we are going to prepare well for our next game, which will be a tough game, so that we can get the win to make them happy,” he assured.
Young Apostles after suffering their fourth season loss are currently on the 14th spot with 9 points and will host league leaders Bibiani Goldstars next.
