Accra Hearts of Oak defender David Oppong Afrane has left the club following the expiration of his contract, bringing his three-year spell with the Phobians to an end.
The 23-year-old centre-back joined Hearts in 2023 and went on to complete three seasons with the Accra-based club.
Oppong Afrane, who is also a Ghana Black Meteors defender, is now a free agent and is available to discuss his next move.
The former King Faisal FC gaurdsman has already attracted interest from several clubs following his departure, although he is yet to make a decision on his next destination.
His exit comes as Hearts continue to reshape their squad ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season under coach Nebosa Kapor, who joined club last month.
Oppong Afrane will now look forward to the next chapter of his career as he considers the options available to him after three seasons with the Phobians.
