Swedru All Blacks extended their lead in the Access Bank Division One League Zone Two standing by beating Nzema Kotoko 3-0 at the Ampain AAK II Sports Arena on Sunday.
The Black Magicians broke the logjam six minutes to halftime through enterprising defender Zayat Bubakari. Clement Tutu scored the visitors second goal in the 68th minute.
Attacker Rudolf Mensah dusted off for the Black Magicians in the 75th minute to secure coach Prince Koffie's side their 18th victory in the ongoing campaign as they have racked up 60 points after 26 rounds of games.
Elsewhere, Pac Academy secured their third consecutive win, after putting Sekondi Eleven Wise to a sharp edged 3-0 win at the Mohammed Kamil Arena in Swedru.
Gabriel Osei notched the opener for Pac Academy in the 39th minute mark, before Justice Asamoah and Akwesi Mensah scored in the 66th and 79th minutes, respectively.
Pac Academy are currently manning the third spot in the league log with 48 points.
Meanwhile, second placed Sekondi Rospak FC stunned Asekem 1-0 at the Akoon Park. Derrick Junior Asare scored a penalty in the 75th minute to secure the three maximum points for the Sekondi side. They have 56 points, with just four points that separates them from the Swedru All Blacks after 26 rounds of matches.
