Asante Kotoko coach, Abdul Karim Zito, made clear the difference between Hearts of Oak, Dreams FC and Kotoko.
On March 1 this year, Zito guided Dreams FC to stun Hearts of Oak 1-0 at the University of Ghana Stadium, but on the bench for Kotoko, Zito recorded a goalless draw with the Phobians in the Match week 30 fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
According to the experienced gaffer, who was recently appointed coach of the Porcupine Warriors - having left his role at Dreams FC as head coach he would have lost something if they had succumbed to defeat against Hearts of Oak.
“The pedigree of Hearts of Oak and Kotoko [game] is not the pedigree of Hearts of Oak-Dreams FC. I lose nothing if Hearts beat Dreams FC but I lose something if Hearts beat Kotoko.”
The result leaves Kotoko on 4th in the league table, while Hearts of Oak are 6th with 46 points.
