Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak have announced the capture of highly-rated winger, Maxwell Abbey Quaye in the final minutes of the ongoing transfer window.
The 24 year old after a fruitful final day negotiations has agreed to sign a two year deal with the Phobians, with official announcement very imminent.
Abbey Quaye is one of the sensational and most consistent players in the Ghanaian topflight in recent times and has netted 20 goals in the last two seasons in the league as a wide man.
Speculations has it that, the Black Galaxies star was on the verge of extending with the wonder club but couldn't resist the offer that arrived quiet late from the 2000 African conquerors.
He is expected to come in as a direct replacement for out-gone Patrick Razak after their pursuit for Legon Citie's Jonah Attuquaye hit a snag.
Abbey becomes Hearts of Oak's eighth arrival after Junior Kaaba, Eric Ofori Antwi, Zakari Yakubu, Wisdom Bumekpor, Yassan Ouatching, Eric Esso and Konadu Yiadom.
Hearts of Oak are looking to edge out Asante Kotoko to clinch the Premier League next season and also make a strong case in the CAF Confederations Cup.
