Former Hearts of Oak midfielder, Michelle Sarpong has joined Kpando Heart of Lions ahead of the 2024/25 football season, Kickgh.com can authoritatively confirm.
The 25-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the Giant Killers after a fruitful negotiations between both parties pending official club announcement.
Michelle, came into the limelight after being promoted from Auroras to the Hearts of Oak first team and was part of the squad that achieved the domestic treble in the 2020/21 campaign.
Fast-forward, he had loan spells at Elmina Sharks and Dreams FC before joining Real Tamale United on a permanent deal last summer.
The versatile middleman was linked with several clubs including newbies Young Apostles FC but has finally made a new choice with Kpando being his next destination where he is looking forward to establishing himself as one of the fans favourite.
With over 60 topflight matches and six-goal involvements, Michelle Sarpong is expected to bring in experience from the exposure he's gotten so far to help give the young Heart of Lions midfield a good balance and stability heading into the new season.
