Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak are set to appointment of Bernard Dong Bortey as a member of the club's technical team.
The decision to appoint the 40-year-old as a technical team member forms part of the restructuring process at the club.
According to Phobianews.com, a deal to draft Bortey in the technical team is near completion, although an announcement is not expected to be made any moment now.
Bortey was earlier today sighted at the club training ground heavily involved in the activities of the technical team.
Management of Hearts of Oak recently appointed Serbian gaffer Slavko Matic as the head of the technical team after the sacking of Samuel Boadu last month.
Dong-Bortey made over 100 appearances for Hearts of Oak and was instrumental in the club winning four league titles and the CAF Confederation Cup.
He was a joint topscorer of the Ghana Premier League in 2002.
